The electric motor has a power output of 134 hp and a torque of 218 lb-ft. The lithium-ion battery has a voltage of 319.4V, a capacity of 38.3 kWh, and an on-board charger with 7.2 kW of power. For a transmission, the IONIQ Electric has a push button derive selector and single-speed reduction gear. The final mechanical component is the front-wheel-drive drivetrain. Together, these parts work to create an estimated fuel efficiency of 145 city MPGe, 121 highway MPGe, and 133 combined MPGe and a range of 170 miles.
