Make Sure You Get a Stocked Emergency Kit in Your Vehicle

Every vehicle should have an emergency kit. You never know when you'll get a flat or run into car trouble. Even though you may not be able to avoid a bad situation, at least you can be prepared for it. Every roadside emergency kit should include bottled water and non-perishable food, hand and foot warmers, and warm blankets. It should also have a First-Aid kit. You can buy a pre-assembled kit, or make your own. Just be sure to have a good variety of medical supplies in it. You should have a cell phone and charger, tow rope, and flashlight with batteries. Flares or reflective triangles and jumper cables are also important. Be sure to have sand, salt, or cat litter in your car in case you need to get traction on slippery roads, and a foldable shovel, windshield washer fluid and many other things that can get incorporated.
